We are super excited about the new playground for the Nickerson Garden community in the Watts section of Los Angeles (rendering attached). The playground is part of many exciting and needed things happening for the residents of this area: HACLA Nickerson Gardens. TKP is helping manage the design and construction of this beautiful playground --- targeted opening is January!
Habitat for Humanity is a leader in providing affordable housing for families around the world. In Southeastern Connecticut TKP is providing detailed research and analysis, helping evaluate property and build design to increase the number of houses that can be completed in 2023 - 2024. We get out there and swing the hammer too.
A TKP hobby is repurposing materials -- part of our philosophy to leave the world better than we found it. These are tables built from a solid maple bunk bed abandoned on the side of the road. Some of the tables went to Habitat, the rest claimed within the TKP family. We design and build with material repurposing a core goal.
